Singer Jang Min-ho has unveiled plans for his upcoming mini-album 'Analog vol.1', a project deeply inspired by the nostalgic charm of 70s and 80s Korean pop music, aiming to evoke a sense of musical nostalgia among listeners across generations while showcasing his evolving artistry in a fresh light.
Through his official social media channels, Jang recently revealed the tracklist for the new release, which features seven songs including the title track 'Hankyeoryeong' along with 'Lonely Love', 'The Image of Me Reflected in My Heart', 'Stay by My Side', 'I Will Give You the Love Left in Me', 'Just Friends', and 'That Day', offering a diverse range of emotional and musical textures.
In the days leading up to the announcement, concept photos were released on September 29 and 30, presenting Jang in stylish white suits and denim shirts that blend classic elegance with modern sensibility, further enhancing the album’s retro-modern aesthetic and drawing enthusiastic responses from fans anticipating the full release.
This marks Jang Min-ho’s first musical project in nearly 11 months since his previous mini-album 'Essay ep.3' in November of last year, and is described as a tribute to the 7080 era of Korean popular music, reflecting his deep admiration for the timeless melodies and lyrical depth of that period through contemporary reinterpretations. The album seeks to bridge generational gaps by reimagining beloved classics with a modern sonic approach. Scheduled for release on October 14 at 6 PM through major online music platforms, 'Analog vol.1' is now available for pre-order via various music retailers, building momentum ahead of its official launch.
